園区のご紹介

日本語で「水道水」とは水道水を意味し、北港水道は一般に北港自来水と呼ばれています。北港水道は昭和5年（1930）5月31日に完成しました。北港渓は水源として、集水井（しゅうすいせい）、浄水場、給水塔、ポンプ室、給水管などを含む工事があり、総資金は21万8,600円の経費を使用しました。

北港水道完成後、当時は北港地域で最も先進的で完備された施設と高く評価されていました。民国86年（1997年）10月2日に、北港渓の汚染により完全に廃止され、北港住民に70年間の給水サービスを提供しました。 2017年に古跡の修復が完了した後、給水塔が観光サービスセンターとして活性化に使用され、北港水道の機能も集水と給水から、レジャーと観光に変わりました。

The completion of Beigang Water Channel was once known as the most advanced and the most complete facility in Beigang at that time. The channel had served the residents for 70 years. However, due to the water pollution, it was completely blocked up on October 2nd, 1997 Nevertheless, after the reparation in 2017, the water collecting well was transformed into a visitor center, and the function of the Beigang Water Channel was also transformed from water collection and water supply to leisure and tourism.
