Distribution of Water
Clean water tank: The treated water will flow into the clean water tank after being filtered and chlorinated and would be transported through the clean water trunks into the water distribution network by means of gravity flow. In turn, such water will be further pressurized and supplied through various pressurizing stations.
The clean water after the fast filtration process will enter the clean water tank with the chlorination disinfection process. The prime function here is to maintain the regulation capability of the water purification plant to assure a stable water output and ensure a sound duration of stay for chlorination disinfection to, in turn, maximize the disinfection effect.
Water distribution system: The water purification process calls for adequate water pressure and water volume to assure sound distribution toward each and every water supply area. At the same time, it should satisfy the volume required for peak time water consumption. The major equipment of the water distribution project includes the water distribution pipelines, the auxiliary equipment thereof, the distribution pools, the water distribution towers or elevated water towers and the like.
The water equipment would mean such equipment that branches from the water distribution pipes toward the respective running water users. Such equipment includes the water inlet pipes, water meters, water reception pipes, switches, branch water pipes, connecting water pipes, water hydrants, and water valves of the tap water. Generally such equipment excludes public waterworks.
