Pump Well

The pump well sits next to the pump buildings. There are two large wells with 3 meters in diameter and 7 meters in depth.

1. The first pump well: take the water from the water intake of Beigang River, and then use pipes to distribute the water to the first pump well.
2. The second pump well: pump the clean water to the water collecting well with the pump and a heavy oil engine.

The water was pumped from Beigang river to the first station by the first pumping, after the pressurization by the pumping, the water was distributed to the sedimentation basin, and then purified in the filtering basin with the bevel brick and filtering sand. There is a oblong catch basin in the basin to collect the filtered water. This process takes about 4 to 7 days.
